It started out as a fun summer trip west to the ranch....now we live here. Our days are filled with the serenity of the mountains, the beauty of the high desert and the adventures of life on the ranch.

Hunter and Katie and I spend 3 hours sweeping up the new house. It was a lot of hard work but then we treat ourselves going out for lunch. Of course Benjamin came with us out to lunch as well even though he spent most of the time in the car.

So we arrive back from Florida safe and sound. All refreshed from having played in the sand in the ocean. We had a great time at the wedding. It was really special to see you my daughter be part of Kacy's wedding when little Kacy had been part of my wedding and my aunt Rhonda and I have always had a special relationship.
And this is a great picture of my welcome home! This is Benjamin's butt after he apparently found a secret mud puddle and proceeded to slip into it and fall on his bottom and get himself full of mud. How he found that pile of mud, I am not sure. It was actually even chunky mud! Needless to say, Benjamin rode home in the car in his boxers!
