I really thought when we moved here it would be the snow that would take some getting used to, but have realized it is actually the mud. Almost the entire length of Log Canyon Road is a river of melting snow. The my dress are unbelievable and I actually just call the county yesterday and ask if there is anything they could do about it. Of course I talk about what would happen if there were an emergency and if an emergency vehicle would be able to pass road because it is actually almost buddy in the afternoon for any type of large truck to go through. So they are going to come in a sausage and see what they can do. I thought that was a really positive.
It's funny how when you look closely at things you have a chance to see things you would not normally see. I love this picture of the mud. It's 1 of those reminders about how even the littlest things and beauty within them and how each holds their own uniqueness.
It started out as a fun summer trip west to the ranch....now we live here. Our days are filled with the serenity of the mountains, the beauty of the high desert and the adventures of life on the ranch.
