A natural

Shervelle really tapped into her ranch woman!

So, this is a long story. But I will aim to make it short!

One morning, hunter and I were headed to school. And we are driving past the pasture where are the cows are supposed to be, when you can see it but there are about 30 out on the highway. They were not on the highway it but they were eating the grass right off the highway and head obviously jumped the fence. So I pull over and wait for Scott and look at Hunter and tell him he might just have to be late for school today.

That was over at the ranch house filling the two giant water tanks that he had on the back of the farm truck.  So, he and I work together and get all the cows in, but he asked me to wait because now he still needs to run up the highway, hop in the truck, and drive the truck into the field to water the cows.

Needless to say, he was not very happy about how the morning was turning out. So when he hopped up into the farm truck, he goes to make this u turn and pulls a bit down into the ditch and the weight of the water in the water tanks makes both tanks slide off the flat bed of the truck and into the ditch.

Now, the couch had already jumped the fence because they were freaking out about not having water. If they do not have it, they absolutely panic! So now we have no way to get them water other than to move them to a different field. This was not a bad thing because that field they were in was getting low on feed anyway.

Soul we move them all 2 the next field over. But the water was not on there and was going to take a while to fill. So here you have all  these anxious cows needing water and holding them back so the tank can fill. That was our job.

Shervelle and I were laughing with each other later as we both commented how good you feel after yelling at the cows! Its like you just have to get this voice that is drenched in assertiveness and it makes you feel powerful to be able to move the cows wherever you want by just using your voice! It is not necessarily what we planned to do that day for 5 hours, but in the end it all work out fine.
