When we got to the top we decided to sit and look at how beautiful everything was. Katie would have stayed up there all day. She just sighed and looked out up Log Canyon and over to Mount Nebo. She said she wanted to hike up to there and get our Christmas tree. She continued and said she only wanted to cut down the ugliest one so Mother Nature could keep all the beautiful ones. Her reverence towards nature is so sincere and such a part of her-so beautiful.
Great hike, only wish my ankle wasn't stupid! I have to say, Katie just appreciates every single thing around her and it's so amazing to watch her and listen to her. The fairies led us on the right path up leaving little shells to show us the way....how great is that?!
